New York’s Metropolitan Opera is continuing its weekly free opera series today with a performance of Mozart’s “Idomeneo.” The opera was recorded in March 2017 and stars Nadine Sierra, Elza van den Heever, Alice Coote and Matthew Polenzani.

Tonight’s performance is the first is a lineup of new streams this week. Each goes live on the opera’s website at 7:30 p.m. EST and remains available until 6:30 p.m. the following day.
